Dear Association Members,
I would like to welcome everyone back to the 2018-2019 St. Albert Ringette season! September is a very busy month at the rinks as we host evaluations, create teams and fill team staff positions. Work behind the scenes has been ongoing in preparation for the St. Albert Turkey Ring Tournament, which for many teams is the first Ringette Tournament of the season. This year marks the 20th Annual Turkey Ring Tournament and your Turkey ring Committee is well on our way in organizing the event.
St. Albert Ringette Association is a registered non-profit amateur sport association and as such depends on fundraising to support the development opportunities for our athletes. Our Turkey Ring tournament is one of St. Albert Ringette Association's largest fundraising events of the year.
Its success is solely dependent on the participation of the association members. Therefore, I am encouraging you all to help make this tournament a success. Sponsorship is one of the keys to success for any non-profit organization so if you know of anyone or if you yourself can help out, either financially, or by donating to our silent auction, raffle table, or even if you have extra time and would like to volunteer, please contact Debbie Stahn at email@example.com
Some things to consider for donations are Oiler Tickets, Prints, movie baskets, liquor basket, workout basket, Ringette bags or sticks, jewelry, scarves and other accessories, restaurant gift certificates, entertainment, grocery & retail gift cards, and monetary donations to be put towards buying items for a raffle basket.
All sponsors will be recognized in the Tournament E-Program. Please remember to take the attached sponsorship letter when seeking donations. With only 4 weeks left to go, donations and sponsors are required immediately.
