It’s that time of year again!!
St. Albert Ringette will be participating in the Rainmaker Rodeo Parade on Saturday, May 26th. Details are below, all interested participants can email Jenn at email@example.com
All participants must be at the parade starting point on Sir Winston Churchill Hill (precise meeting point tbd) at 8:30 am on Saturday, May 26th.
The parade route will start at the curling rink corner on Sir Winston Churchill Hill avenue, east to St. Anne Street, northeast to Perron Street, north to Mission Avenue, west to Mount Royal Drive, north to St. Vital Avenue, east on St. Vital, and ending at the church parking lot where participants will then be picked up.
As the length of the parade depends on the amount of entries, there is no set end time. Please be at the end point to receive your child(ren) by 11:00am, with the understanding that they may or may not be there just yet.
Participants in the parade will be awarded 2 DIBS credits valid for the 2017/18 season only.
All participants will be provided SARA jerseys to be worn for the duration of the parade. There will not be a float this year, as we are trying to gather a large (and loud!) walking presence. Our entry last year had a fantastic turnout, and I’m hoping for that, plus more!!
We will be handing out candy and rings, as well as flyers for the June 2nd Come Try Ringette session. If you know of anyone interested in trying Ringette, the parade is a fun way to garner some interest and excitement! Participants do not have to be current SARA members. All ages are welcome!
Thank you so much for your time and interest in creating exposure for St. Albert Ringette. It’s activities like this that help grow our sport and bring recognition to our players!
